I don't want to live in an old prison. I don't want to live where it's cold and cloudy. I don't want to do redditisland in Montana or inside the US. I don't want to do a "dry run".
I'm here to form a community that wants to inhabit and develop an island, archipelago, or at the very least a beachfront stretch of land big enough for our goals.
Respectfully, there is enough room for anyone to start a community in the method of their choosing, in the location and climate of their choosing. I think this subreddit is getting clouded with too many options.
If you want to buy an old church or prison, good, great, do THAT...just make /r/reddittown or r/redditexperiment or /r/modernhomestead...this subreddit is for people that want to move to and inhabit an island. That's where the focus is.
By all means, other communities forming together would be a great exchange of information and experiences, but I'd like to keep redditisland about an ISLAND.
