I think it is time to rebuild the Steering Committee and provide a means for making decision about where we go next in the country and island selections. However, the current process for setting up the Steering Committee will most likely never happen.

So I suggest we have people put their names forward who believe they have a critical skills for the initial success of the island and we choose from the people who have volunteered to serve.

The types of people we need come from the business plan. We need:

• Legal Advice
• Civil Engineering (roads, bridges, piers, water retention, surveying)
• Agricultural Engineering ( hydroponics, aquaponics, hydrology, soil management)
• Geology ( soil analysis, rock stratus formation, geothermal analysis, etc.)
• Chemical Engineering ( mainly sanitation )
• Healthcare ( nurse, doctor, military medic)
• Project Management
• Politics ( dealing with host nation government regulations, guidelines)
• Communications ( Cellular, Satellite, WiFi)
• Sustainable Construction ( Housing, buildings, etc.)

If somewhere thinks they can be a candidate for the Steering Committee I suggest you write up a blurb about yourself and how your expertise and talents can be beneficial to the initial establishment of the island and then we can collect these people into a poll for voting. We will let the poll run for a certain period of time then whatever votes are cast at that time is the result.

Its time to show we are moving forward with this project and the next steps are being taken to make this a reality.
