We propose that we organise a co-op for the island. This is a proposal, and will be discussed on the next meeting on Monday 9 o'clock eastern us time and in the subreddit, in this topic, and in forum and finally voted for on the meeting on next Thursday, 9 o'clock eastern US time. BE THERE or (talk to us earlier for Europeans) to influence the outcome, if you feel differently, and if not, help us to put in the small details. If it is possible, we will form it in US, if not, use escrow services or holding corp to gather the money for shares. A nonprofit was found too cumbersome and limiting in our options. A corporation as a solution was found to be too hard to balance the differences between individuals.

We found out that we have access to free legal advice in the form of a personal lawyer of a moderator. We will send him questions and expect much clarification in the next week or so. Thank gandalv for that.

The moment we have a clear overview of what we can and are able to do legal wise, we start collecting nonrefundable donations for the legal costs associated. We expect the nominal donation to be at least 10 $ which would give you voting rights on the real polls for things you do, and dont want to see on your island, where the island should be, and etc.

The main candidate countries for the location of the island are at the moment Philippines, Panama and Belize. We will study the laws of those countries and relevant information to give you understanding of the situation. Also, we have started to collect and received info on local brokers, so they would scout for us. It is possible to add other regions, but these were found to be the cheapest and most offering.

The criteria are not set in stone yet, this is something we work on and what will be set by the people who donate. They, and later the members of the co-op will vote with their money, and this will be the real test of success for this project.
