I received a chat message and I was half asleep, accidentally pressed ignore. How do I find the person that messaged me?

I have mobile notifications on but not email. Got tired of my email being filled. Also I did not have notification history enabled on my phone and I don't remember the username that sent me the message. I'm on Android I don't know if that matters but I'm really regretting pressing ignore while I was half asleep because it was an actual important message.
