Context: I shared an image in my mod chat group that contains many demeaning words that should be filtered (using automod) in my subreddit. I shared the picture with them to see if I'd missed any words. Now, after 6 months, they removed that image and gave me a warning.
I'm not sure whether the appeal will work; they sometimes don't even reply to my reports. any other solution?
This is the message I got today from Reddit.
// Hi Defiant-Appearance64,
Reddit is a vast network of communities that are created, run, and populated by people like you. In order to keep communities welcoming, safe, and great places to be, everyone who uses the platform operates by a shared set of rules—a set of rules you may not have realized you broke.
Content removed for sharing non-consensual intimate media
We flagged the following as a potential policy violation:
A chat with Defiant-Appearance64 on 08/25/2023 UTC
After reviewing, we found that you broke Rule 3 because you shared intimate media of someone without their consent. Sharing, threatening to share, or soliciting intimate or sexually-explicit content of someone without their consent is not allowed. This includes fake or “lookalike” depictions, as well as images or videos of intimate parts of a person’s body, even if the person is clothed or in public, if contextualized in a salacious manner (such as “creepshots'' or “upskirt” imagery). This also applies to leaked, stolen, or privately-shared content of someone who does not consent to sharing it on Reddit.
As a result, we’re removing the violating content and asking you not to break this rule again. //
2-3 warnings will lead to ban ???
Yeah, you're also right about it.
