Is praw.info(ids) over 100 submissions rate-limited?

First, I just realized I could ask PRAW/Reddit for more than one message at a time! This should be more prominent on the Quickstart page. (And the meaning and specification for fullnames should be explained.)
The Reddit Instance page includes "Requests will be issued in batches for each 100 fullnames." Are these batches using the correct rate-limiting behavior? Or if I have a lot of ids, should I break them up into batches of 100 myself?
