PSA: Race condition in wiki page edit conflict detection

I suspect it's not a very widely-used feature, but I discovered this morning that Reddit does not catch conflicting wiki page edits if two edits are made in rapid succession. More details are here.
If you have a bot that can make wiki edits, it might be worth putting a small delay between such requests. I'm not sure how much of a delay is sufficient, but I wouldn't be surprised if one second is enough. I had a hard time reproducing the bug in PRAW without bringing in multithreading.
