Personal use script can't get access token

I'm running a personal use script, that has worked flawlessly for at least 6-7 years, but suddenly stopped working a week ago. Every request - without exception - for an access token gets a 401 unauthorized error.
Tried creating a new app, with new credentials - same error.
Tried using different reddit username/password, with an account that definitely works (this one!) - same error.
Anyone having the same issues, or have any ideas how to resolve it?
