So, about that zodiac killer cipher, why don't we create a subreddit and collectively try to crack it?

We didn't get updates from that thread, and this cipher fascinates me. If there is a solution to it, I'm sure Reddit can collectively do it.
There are two ciphers still unsolved, this and this.
I believe the 340 cipher is not as simple as the previous homophonic ones, otherwise it would have been already cracked in 40 years. We are either looking at a combination of multiple methods, or a huge trolling attempt.
