High and low honor grips

I’ve read some conflicting information regarding the special grips you lock with high/low honor. Is it possible to max out your honor (high or low) before the epilogue or main story? Also is it true that you unlock both grips going high honor? I’ve read people say they unlocked the low honor grip by maxing out high honor which I wasn’t sure if that was exactly true
I’m in chapter 4 on my 2nd play through and was hoping to get both but at least 1 - if it’s impossible to unlock both
