This is my first time playing RDR2, but due to the internet I already know how it ends and how Arthur struggles with the thought of being a good man.
I just got into springtime and I took the women into Valentine. On the way there we meet a man who loses both of his horses and we have the opportunity to help. Being the good guy I of course chose to help him.
It was just a simple interaction, nothing to it. What broke my heart was what Arthur says to the women as they go on their way.
“If you lot weren’t here, I probably would have robbed him….”
In that Moment I saw a man wanting to be better, whether by Devine intervention or simply because he had others around him.
All I know is I’m two hours in and Arthur has already made me cry.
