Has the blackout drunk Guarma glitch been patched?

I'm in the epilogue and trying to complete my compendium, so of course I need to get back to Guarma.
I tried the drunk glitch east of McFarlenes Ranch twice, and also at Devils Cave in Big Valley. All I did was pass out and appear in the same place.
If this isn't working any more, how long does it take to row there?
