Rdr2 really didn't need to lock weapons. The player character is already overpowered with auto aim and deadeye.

Post Body

I just find it a little Annoying that I have to wait till almost the end to use some of these weapons. Yes, I also have the epilogue but, just let me use a fancy shotgun a little earlier. The player character is already overpowered with auto aim and Deadeye. It just sucks when they dangle these guns in front of my face the entire time I play the game and only just let me use it when there's barely anything else left to do.

Some games i play, I'll save a lot of side content until I complete enough story to use the weapons that I want to use but I also find that I'm less compelled to play the game when the main story is over. Regardless of how fun and how much side content there is. It can also ruin my experience as it hinders me organically role-playing and exploring when im trying to do the bare min to unlock something and still have stuff to do with it
