I was told, and was under the impression that if you had free aim on, you would only join lobbies with people who also have free aim.

However, after joining a few posses, they told me they don't use free aim, which means this whole time I've been playing with controller players who use auto aim, which also explains how they instantly headshot me, track me through bushes, and have nearly perfect aim while on horseback.

I don't mind getting outplayed by someone using free aim, but getting headshot by a built in feature specifically removed for Mouse and Keyboard is simply dumb. That's pretty bullshit to be honest.

Why are free aim (Free Roam) lobbies not a thing? Why is the auto aim a lock on aimbot instead of just sticky aim like literally every other game? Keep the lock on for single player where it doesn't matter, but it should not exist in online.
