Saved at the trading post all the way in the east, Now game won't load.

Game was working perfectly fine, I was going to hunt the legendary Beaver, saved the game at the trading post to the east of that and now my game won't load. It launches, goes through the first loading screen, then the photos and then it crashes as soon as it starts to load my character.
Anyone have this issue and found a fix? I tried safe mode as well.
