When Dutch was making plans and dreaming of Tahiti, mentioning Australia and other hot climates, why didn't they just cross the river into Mexico? Its literally 50 yards. No Pinkertons there as far as I know, and even Javier gets a good 12 years in Mexico before any action was taken. Hell, when they took passage on that freight they could have just said "drop us off over there"
