Firstly, what do you propose they do to profit from their online service that they are undoubtedly investing endless amounts of money and time into? Please give us your very detailed explanation of how they are meant to profit without having in game currency like literally every other online game in existence to date. Let alone how reasonably priced these gold bars are. 25 for $9.99? I can almost purchase everything I want that's currently within the game. 150 for $50? You most likely won't need to purchase any again for a year and you're essentially buying the online mode. An online mode which I'll remind you, you aren't entitled to and has been added to the game for the company to make profit.
Next, all you people complaining about lack of content, if you want more missions, more gear and modes than get purchasing that in game currency. Not only does it show that they have heavy investment from its user base but they also make a tidy profit that gets sunk back into furthering development.
Honestly, grow up people. It's a business and an online service that is heavily expensive to run. This isn't a fallout 76 situation, they know what they're doing and they're doing it well.
