I've been doing everything I can do to get a job for a year. And I got a response that a company was interested. Reasonable pay, completely remote, sounds great. I reply that I'm still interested.
Today, I receive a take-home technical test. The questions seem pretty on par with what I'd expect to be asked. Something just felt...off. So, I started diving. The company has a website, which only took me a moment to find, and there was a link to their LinkedIn. None of the people who work there have public profiles. It all says "LinkedIn Member". Ok, little sketchy, but whatever. Might be a thing with this company. I notice the address and the phone number. I looked up the address and it's a home out of virginia. And when I looked up the phone number, it was listed as a cell phone for some random lawyer in the area. And when I called it, it was a google voice number.
I'm so sick of these fake jobs. I only knew to look because my last 3 leads were...this. I DO NOT CARE ANYMORE!!!!!
