Almost hired, company decides to cut position
Post Body

Hii so I left my previous job due to workplace abuse not being addressed, I have a lot of mental health issues so it was terrible for me. I absolutely love the field I was in, mental health, but the medical staff were beyond demeaning to me and patients. Fast forward to now, I have no savings cuz my ex spouse had all of our money. I've been applying, walking into places, all asking for a job and everybody loves my personality and think I'm awesome. So I finally met one company I adore that works for DCF, they help families with youth that are at risk for being institutionalized. They give them providers, counseling, even help the entire family. Dream job. I clicked so well with everybody I interviewed with. They're wonderful people doing amazing work. They even asked me when the soonest I could work would be! 🥰💕❤ Well I just got a call today saying the company cut the position I applied for entirely. I was expecting some bullshit but that took the cake. I'm kind of at a loss. The recruiter was so sweet and said you were amazing, I know you'll do great, I wish we could have you but I'll let you know if remote opportunities pop up cuz I'm gonna get you in. Honestly it's refreshing having people care but it's like it doesn't pay the bills. At least I have a part time with two side hustles, but it's ridiculous I even need to fight this hard to stay afloat.

Tldr; Almost got job but position was cut. Feeling frustrated/upset.
