Venting and question: After working with 3 separate recruiters over the past 2 months I’m now at a complete standstill and have also been completely ghosted by two companies. I just saw one of the jobs I applied for reposted on LinkedIn by the recruiter that reached out to me. She told me they wanted me in for a second interview then I didn’t hear anything.
I feel like this strategy of working with recruiters just isn’t working for me and I know it’s partially due to the fact that I’m settling and saying yes to roles they give, even when I know they aren’t aligned. I’m going to take a break from responding to recruiters and just start reaching out to my network directly or the hiring managers directly.
Has anyone done this and if so, how has it worked for you?
