Recruitment seems worse than online dating
Post Body
So I've been out of a job for a couple of weeks. I have 5 years of "real work experience", a doctorate in physics, multiple programming languages, 5 years of management in a major, nationwide company... etc.
I've been applying to jobs - like 10/day and I never hear a word back.
Like the ghosting is worse than online dating.
What the heck is going on? Is there some HR conspiracy? Companies keep saying they can't recruit anyone but I can't see any evidence that they're even trying...
