Useless Application Questions.
Post Body

I filled out an application and they asked questions that I think are a waste of time and provide little to no meaningful insight. In the example below, the question offers several solutions which are all valid and completely dependent on the culture of the company. There is also so much nuance to answering this question. Whatever your answer is, the hiring manager should let you know how they'd like you to evaluate priorities.

How do you go about changing your priorities when the business needs change suddenly?

Collaborate with colleagues or team members to distribute workload and ensure alignment with the new priorities.

Evaluate your current priorities and tasks, identifying any that can be put on hold or delegated to accommodate the new business needs.

Assess the potential impact of the changes on your existing projects or tasks and communicate any conflicts or challenges to your manager.

Seek clarification and additional guidance from your manager or senior stakeholders regarding the desired outcomes and expectations related to the changed priorities.
