Indeed, zip recruiter, LinkedIn, craigslist, and everything else are all corporate shitholes that suck ass.
There needs to be a platform dedicated to actually help people find jobs, and not give corporations more money/clicks. A platform that discourages typical recruiting bullshit like ghosting, ignoring qualified candidates, refusing to disclosing salary, low-effort postings, pre-interview "assessments", the entry level misnomer, fake jobs, etc. A platform that is run and owned by people tired of all the crap that plagues the modern job economy. And most importantly, a platform that will NOT be a sellout and get bought out by corporations that want to silence us.
I have a background in programming so I'd honestly build it myself, but I don't have the time nor funds for it atm. Plus, virtually no employers would use it since this system would require them to actually give a fuck about applicants.
We need an entire revolution, y'all.
