I’m a masters student in epidemiology and biostatistics and I have significant experience in R, SAS and Linux and currently work in a cancer lab as a research assistant doing data analysis and stats/machine learning, which are all in demand skills and I’m trying to change my situation because the money isn’t good (my manager told me he wouldn’t pay me more once I got my degree in May) and I want a change from academic: hospital systems. I apply to 3 or 4 jobs once a day and keep getting ghosted. I am started to feel dejected and humiliated… I just want a good job by May :( what am I doing wrong? I usually apply on Handshake and hospital job sites and indeed, along with progressive data jobs….
