I'm helping a friend of mine taper off of alcohol and I have some questions about it. She's getting very sick and agreed to the help I'm offering but she's vicious at times when I put my foot down. She'll say things like "You're trying to kill me!" and throw a big fit and whatever else is within reach. I understand that there is no "safe way", but I could use some help. She was throwing back 12-24 99 proof shooters per day. Not sure the exact amount though. So how often should I give her a shot and should I water them down? She says watering the shooters down makes symptoms worse.
