Recalbox 8bitdo controller issue

Ever since updating to recalbox version 7.2 on my rpi 4, I've been unable to use my 8bitdo Bluetooth gamepads (sf30 pro). I can pair with them just fine, but I cannot configure them, nothing happens if I push on any of the controller buttons. I have the same issue after the update to 7.2.1 and after updating the firmware of my controller to v1.36. Same issue on all three of my 8bitdo controllers. Any suggestions to help fix this would be much appreciated. Thanks.
