Easiest way to line up a bunch of chopped song samples for live performance?
Post Body

I am MCing a Dragon Boat festival and what to chop and line up some samples for the event.

My MIDI controller doesn't have trigger pads so I will use keys.

For example

  1. C3 = "Celebrate good times, come on!"
  2. D3 = "We will, we will rock you"

Etc.

My questions are:

  1. Which sampler would be best/easiest to use?
  2. Should I chop the part of the song I want to use first, or do that in the sampler?

I am running this from a pre-M1 Macbook Air so don't have tons of computer power or RAM.

Thanks in advance.
