If anyone has gone "off the map" witchcraft-wise and has not practised, or celebrated any Sabbats or Esbats for a while and has been somewhat caught up in the mundane world, then maybe you can relate to this. I still meditate and visualise and read loads, but I've not had much chance to set up an altar, cleanse, cast a Circle etc. etc. I have, in my busy household, two opportunities a week to really get my witch on though. :)
I first got into witchcraft circa 2001 when I was at University. I was Wiccan, to begin with, but realised after a year or so that that exact path was not for me. I'm considerably more "grey" now, for want of a better word.
Fast forward 20-ish years and I'm literally middle-aged, but now I'm squealing with excitement like a newbie because I've bought some stuff online: coloured candles, cos I'm running low; a "witch pack" of various herbs, crystals and other bits; a jewellery-making kit, and some charms. Not only will my creations look pretty, but there will also be some real power on 'em as well: wards, protections, talismans, amulets. And I've never made jewellery before. This is all new and exciting!
If you're all interested, maybe I will post my creations. LOL. *does a happy dance*
