Should I help sellers for free, to get real estate sales experience?

So I'm in my second year in real estate sales and I have no sales. I also work a full time job trying to do. I watched a video on how a an older agent did that when he started and now he's a coach. I think his name is Kevin Ward.
I'm only to trying it up to 20 deals. That way I'll have the knowledge and experience to back it up.
