should a broker take sales?
Post Body

small company in south florida, 5 agents, of those two are basically worthless, one has been here forever (friend of owner) and has the vast majority of accounts and two (including me) are newly licensed

we are a management company, had an agent leave recently so his renewals are getting dolled out among us.

one of his (old agent) owners just emailed the broker directly with interest in selling, and it sounds like the broker is going to just take the sale for himself.

completely understand he's the boss, etc. but he's a millionaire and the rest of us work two jobs. he knows that. again, that doesn't matter much, wondering if this is normal? he's going to get a commission no matter what, he could give it to one of us and still make money....

-just to clarify-

we probably do 6 sales a year, focused on management. it's not like we are rolling in new clients, hence all of us having two jobs except for the friend of the owner but he's legitimately been there since the beginning.
