Post Body

I've been doing real estate for 2 years in nyc. So far here is my experience: my first brokerage was a shit show, I closed my first client a month after I got my license but he got jealous so he started breaking me down. 6 months couldnt build my confidence back up, so I left for a different company. My second brokerage was better because they were more open about training new agents. However, they only cared about recruiting agents as much as possible to pay their desk fee. They do not care about the growth of the agent.

I spent my career as of now working on rentals for landlords and renters. It has payed the bills but it is still not enough. I am looking for a team that is more sales based. However, it is hard because I do not have a book of business or a high network. I still go out and make connections but it takes me more time because I am still extremely young (early 20s).

I am at a strange point in my life. I am looking for a new brokerage, ideally a team that is willing to give me the time of day to properly show me how it is done and in return I work hard and make them money. So far I got one offer but they do not have an office and are based in Long Island (I am in nyc). I need some advice on how I can properly reach out to people.
