We have been looking through this sub and have realized that we don’t really know how we can be sure to fight spam, fakes, and flakes when most of the posts are blank profiles posting title posts only. Maybe others operate differently, but everyone in this community we have spoken to (including ourselves) would never respond to someone with a blank profile and no pics on their R4R post, let alone meet them for sex.

Adding a picture directly to the post, or an Imgur link like is common on the GoneWild subs, gives people an idea of what they’re looking for. Everyone has types, and everyone has standards. People have finite amounts of time to dedicate to trying to figure others out, per our “guidance” post. Would you as a poster want to spend hours, maybe days, getting to know someone to find out that they’re the opposite of what you’re looking for? And, even beyond that, would you genuinely spend your time messaging and trying to interact with people who could be anyone? Using ourselves as an example, we have an upper bound on age limits - why would we spend the time knowing someone to eventually find that they’re beyond what we’re looking for. Likewise we also have specifications for potential 3rds, which are more stringent for males as is common in this lifestyle. At the end of the day we’re all here trying to meet others who have what we want, so let’s make that a little easier on everyone involved.

This won’t help those acting to be other people really, but there’s little to be done there other than cross referencing profiles the best we can and taking action. But, it may just help people find what they want.
