It is heartbreaking to hear about her getting evicted as a child. That would traumatize me for life. But she keeps putting herself in situations where that is a serious possibility, and therefore she has to rely on Michael. She could have moved into a nice reasonable rental or purchased a more modest house, but no she lets Michael buy her an expensive house (that she’s made clear she can’t afford the mortgage on her own), but she’s on the hook for the rent and has to stay married because she can’t carry it herself.
I want her to grow up and be stronger as a mother and a women, and she just makes such poor decisions. It’s really sad. In 8 years I feel she has made zero growth.
