I’m not in production (so definitely correct me if I’m wrong) but isn’t a 50/50 split with a production company normal. Doesn’t the production company absorb a lot of the up front costs?
Like does Wendy expect just a producer for hire. It’s my understanding most producers put an ownership percentage in the contract so that if it becomes profitable (hopefully because they produce it well) they get a share?
I’m genuinely curious. If anyone with production experience wants to weigh in I’m curious. To me Wendy getting 50% (when she knows Jack shit about production based on her comment about what’s a PA) seemed good.
