For whatever reason when I watched Nene as a teenager I thought she was funny, relatable, and endearing. I’ve been rewatching season 5 of Atlanta and Nene is funny. She is also just cruel, the way she treats Cynthia the only one who likes her is such a prime example. She dismisses everyone, and is just no fun to be around. I always had this vision nene was taken over by fame. I loved she was one of the few housewives who has struggled. Watching seasons now she’s kind of just a stick in the mud. For someone who was a stripper she’s so judge mental of Candy. Also rewatching I’m coming to absolutely love Cynthia and Candy. They genuinely seem like good humans beyond the cameras.
