I am wondering if anyone here has experience with duets that are sold as townhomes. I have an opportunity to get this new construction townhome in a high demand master planned community, but I am wondering if there is appreciation to be expected. I know single family homes are obviously better but that adds at least $50k for a similar size sfh.
Essentially the townhome is like a SFH, split right in the middle. Both side owners get their own garage and driveway though. Itβs like a sfh with shared common wall with another owner.
Other options for sfh in the same price range have lesser rooms, and no backyard/front yard and a much smaller lot size.
My goal is to live here for a couple years, put this up as a rental and upsize at a later point of time. However, I might consider selling or even living in it for longer. (My situation is highly volatile).
Looking for advice/feedback.
