Is Getting REPS Status Worth The Offset On Taxes?
Post Flair (click to view more posts with a particular flair)
Post Body
I am an engineer by trade and make over the 150k threshold.
Therefore, I am limited to 3k to offset loses.
Would getting REPS status, Ie become a real estate agent โon paperโ be worth it? Id still do my w2 job full time, but list my hours regardless to meet the requirements for REPS.
This way, I can offset more of my w2 income.
Has anyone done this? And is it worth it?
