Hey, so I thought you all might know, and im not asking will the socket be compatible, I know AMD is supporting it though 2020. I want to know, roughly, that if I buy a 2600x and the ASUS ROG Strix b450 mobo now, will things like the VRM be able to support a 6 or 8 core Ryzen 3000 chip in a few months?
I only ask because my 4770k has finally given up on me, and I need to upgrade now, but obviously want to make sure I can sell off the 2600x in a few months and buy a ryzen 3000, and have it be hot swapable with no issues. I dont really plan on overclocking, so no issue there.
