So I'd love to hear from you if I'm wrong, but here's how I see it. Following AdoredTV's video about the gpu war being over (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN7i1bViOkU), it would make sense that AMD has no incentive to make a high end gpu, seeing as no one bought them in mass when they did make high end gpu's. However, all the sudden, when people find out that AMD makes a card that is great for mining (rumors holding true), AMD gets whiplash. Now, why wouldnt they make a great mining gpu? There's obviously a massive market for them, and people never bought amd gpu's like nvidia ones, so they never made enough profit on them. I'd love to see AMD finally turn a profit on these VEGA cards, and invest back into a great architecture to compete with nvidia at the very high end again, but for now, if they dont, I couldnt blame them.
