Best salon to get hair extensions?

I've been toying with getting hair extensions, but before I make a decision on a place I'd also like some good recommendations so I can look further into costs/quality of service etc and compare.
I still class myself as a reading newbie, so any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Budget wise, i understand that extensions are a commitment! But its always nice to get a good/best deal. So im looking at the realistic but reasonable price range :)
