Best way to send HTTP requests in react native?

I've been using axios but it always gives a network error, even though I can access the URL from postman. Are there any better alternatives for sending requests? I'm trying to connect mongodb to react native btw

its worth mentioning that http requests will fail on ios, not sure about android.
