When would you need to eject from Expo?
Post Body

Hey everyone! I’m a junior react developer. Actually by title I’m a data scientist but I’ve done a decent amount of development in React and Vue.

I am currently working on a project for which my company is designing a mobile app. Because we don’t have much experience with mobile development, we went with an approach of having a PWA, which would be mobile optimized. The app is very simple, a login, followed by a form for data entry connected to a backend. Later, we plan on having functionalities such as accessing the device microphone and camera.

We were suppose to build this out in React Native, but I kept reading in multiple articles that ejecting from expo is necessary if you want to deploy your app on a app store. How true is this? How do you make the decision to eject from expo, what factors govern this?
