Dog keeps chasing newer dogs away from a play area. Is there any way to stop him from doing this?

Post Body

I take my dog daily to a corner part of the small hill near my house where he plays every day for half to one hour with many other dogs (ranging from 5 to 20). He doesn't get along with many of the larger male dogs there but they've come to an agreement to not get in each other's ways. He has never had a physical fight with another dog nor has he ever bitten another dog.

But whenever a dog comes there for the first time, my dog immediately chases the dog away. As in, he runs super fast after them. Some of the dogs are terrified of this. He doesn't bite or attack those dogs because he is faster than most and even if he overtakes the dog while running, he has never bitten one. Most dogs just come back to the owner and then after sniffing the dog a few times, mine will either ignore the dog or play with it.

Today a dog that had already been lost for over an hour came to the play area. My dog immediately chased her away before we could leash her and wait for her owner. The dog was eventually found but if mine hadn't chased her away, we would have caught her hours earlier.

So, is there any way to stop my dog from doing this? He is very leash reactive and doesn't like to meet dogs on a leash. Otherwise, he is a perfectly normal dog who loves to play and run with other dogs.
