My dog is a year old and he was always good with other dogs on leash when he was younger. At around 7 months, he started getting very uncomfortable and agitated while meeting other dogs on leash, so I researched and started training him, rewarding him for staying calm and ignoring other dogs on walks. The training has been going awesome, and at this point, it's a success every damn time except this one Golden Retriever we encounter on walks. Now this GR is super sweet, well behaved, always on leash and now knows that there is no point in approaching my dog. But my dog just doesn't listen to me, accept treats or do anything else except bark at him.
I have been able to get him to ignore even some of the dogs that he regularly meets and plays with while on walks but this Golden, he simply won't walk past him without barking. What can I even do? Its a lil embarrassing lol
