I stay with a friend and his girlfriend who frequently visits has had her dog stay with us the past couple weeks. The problem is that this dog will absolutely not stop barking at me. I seem to be the only one who the dog has this issue with. People come and go routinely and it’s not much of an issue for them.
I’m not much of a dog person at all. Can the dog sense that? I’ve tried giving the dog treats, let it take its time and warm up to me, completely ignore it, etc, etc. Nothing seems to work. It’s almost as if every time I step foot inside my own home the “I don’t know this person! Time to bark at him!” starts.
What gives?
