So I've decided to start anew and try and get rid of the fan-made objects (rides, scenery, paths etc). Basically all CSO and rides like Amazing Earls and others, because I never use them, I'm more than happing sticking with the default items. However, when I went into the objdata file (iirc, I'm in the office now so can't check) and deleted things that appeared to be downloaded (file names began with AE and the names suggested they were the Amazing Earl's rides) the game started crashing after. I restored the items, and everything was back to normal.

Is there an easier way to remove them? I was thinking of uninstalling, then deleting anything left in the program files- I assume they'd still be there after I uninstall the game? I know I don't have to use them and all that, but I tried to create a scenario last night and it took forever to find the default items I know and love in the midst of all the downloaded stuff (that have mostly just come with maps I've downloaded I think).
