Opinions on the new XRT

So my feed is blowing up with the new Traxxas XRT, I like a ton of the features, that clipless body looks interesting as hell, and it looks more durable as well with the all metal drive components. I don't know if I'm ready to be an early adopter, that 1k entry fee is kinda rough too, but seems worth it for such a big scale truck. What are your opinions? Is it worth the buzz?
