I’m looking to upgrade my slash, and I’ve got around a 300$ budget.However, I want to stay away from brushless and LiPo for now. I know that I’m going to get A LGC kit, which is around $40. I also plan out shelling out $70 for a 5000 mAh Traxxas battery (NiMH), unless you guys can find a better 5000 mAh for me. Lastly, I plan on buying the basic Traxxas tool kit for $30.

With the remaining ~$150, what should I buy? I’ve heard that aluminum parts and new servo is the way to go. I’m just not sure which parts I should upgrade first. I also need other miscellaneous things like oil to keep the car in good condition.

Lastly, I’ve seen those “full body” upgrades on eBay for $50 (not by Traxxas). Are these worth it to buy?
