Hey Guys,
Pretty new to the Raw food thing, I've done a tonne of research and I finally bit the bullet today.
We have two kittens, 10 weeks and 5 months old now, they have been on Ziwi Peak and Feline Natural for the most part, supplemented with kibble. I've always liked the ingredients and nutritional profile of these brands. But if can be quiet expensive here in Aus at least.
My goal was to replicate some of these expensive cans, with economy in mind.
What I bought from the local butcher was:
(Sorry about the Metric measurements, from Aus 😁)
500g Beef Mince 500g Lamb Mince 1kg Minced Chicken bones 1kg Chicken Giblets/Heart 1kg Chicken Liver 500g Lamb Kidney
Ratios for 200g meal packs:
60g Beef/Lamb Mince 60 Grams Kidney/Liver 50 Grams Heart 30g Chicken Bone Mix
I will split this in to 2 X 100g meals for both kittens and still continue with the kibble as supplement for the salt and omega 3s.
I know everyone has their own recipes and ideas. This is mine, feel free to let me know what you think of it.
Cheers
