I recently switched to raw for all my pets back in December, and was always buying big name products like Primal, Stella & Chewy, etc. I didn’t realize the amount of local companies that are available, and for much less money! If you are also starting out raw, look into some local brands, too! Of course, be sure to confirm that the companies you find are following nutrition guidelines.

Hopefully with increased popularity, the raw food industry will be bigger and prices will generally be cheaper. I just think it’s still something out of many people’s price ranges (for prepared food; not homemade). Excited for the future of raw food!
